Zweisimmen in winter

With over 105 km of ski slopes at all levels of difficulty, the ski area of Gstaad-Zweisimmen is ideally suited for the entire family.
The Rinderberg connects the Zweisimmen ski area with further ski areas such as Saanenmöser, Schönried and St. Stephan to form the magnificent ski arena “Gstaad Mountain Rides” with a total of 220 kilometres of ski slopes.

Guaranteed snow, long, wide ski slopes, a ski lift directly by the lodge – here, you’ll find a true winter sport paradise!

Directions in winter

In the winter, you can only reach the Rinderberg Swiss Alpine Lodge by cable railway, which runs until 4:30 pm.

Arrival between 8:30 am and 16:30 pm:
From the Rinderberg valley station in Zweisimmen, the cable railway will take you to the Rinderberg Swiss Alpine Lodge. The Gondelbahn stops at the Eggweid middle station, directly next to the lodge.
A hotel parking space is available to you behind the Zweisimmen train station (signposted as Hamilton P3). You can unload your luggage beforehand at the Talstation Rinderberg valley station.

Zweisimmen in summer

The hiking area of Gstaad Saanenland features a network of hiking paths amounting to over 300 km. The offerings range from family hiking trails through theme paths all the way to alpine routes.
Crystal-clear mountain lakes invite you for a swim. Adventure offerings such as the Trotti bike tour, alpine slides or alpine coasters guarantee fun for the entire family.

Directions in summer

In the summer, the Rinderberg Swiss Alpine Lodge can be reached directly by car or by taxi. From Zweisimmen, the Rinderbergstrasse will bring you up to the hotel; parking spaces are available at the lodge.
